Carol and Adrian moved to the southern region of France called the Languedoc in 1985, when Adrian retired from the Metropolitan Police.
They had been visiting the area for fifteen years prior to moving, and had bought an old  wine cave, that had been abandoned many years before.
Having lived in a large capital City all their lives it was to be a  total change in lifestyle. They set about integrating into local village life and starting their renovations.
These are some of their recollections both before, and after their move to France.
